What I Read Last Month — Reposition Yourself: Living A Life Without Limitations
Last month I started concentrating on my reading. In case you didn’t know, reading is the reason why I created this blog in the first place, I realized after I accomplished my Masters’ degree, I didn’t have to stop the learning pattern. I had always dreamt to share my knowledge with others, and I was reading more and more. I realized I was absorbing a new set of knowledge, so why not sharing what I knew at a superior rank.
Since my focus was, at the time, self-development, so I began reading several related books, journals, and articles.
Moving forward, I am keen to reveal to you all the books that I will be reading, and perhaps you can join me on the journey.
Last month I read Reposition Yourself: Living Life Without Limitations by T. D. Jakes. This was a distinguished book. I discovered how to reposition myself financially, physically, and mentally. There is a lot of wisdom from this book that you won’t find anywhere else. I am settled to the knowledge I receive from the book.
My favorite quote is “No one knows but you the extent to which your public success makes private failures”. Such a true declaration. Society is always waiting when you succeed so they can welcome and appraise your success when they have absolutely no idea what you have to go through to attain your where you are. And often times, they’re not even interested in comprehending the process you went through anyway.
I chose this book to read after watching an interview of the Bishop on YouTube. It was an inspiring interview, and I instantly wanted to learn and read more of his works. I highly recommend to read this book, would you have the time, the commitment, and the conviction to apply what you acquire into practice. Because the problem is, you can read as much as you can, study as much as you would, but if you’re not practicing all the knowledge that you’re collecting, then it would not make any difference if you were not learning at all.
So please friends, read to learn and grow.
