Why You Need To Choose Your Squad Wisely

choose your squad wisely

We all need some type of support to help us with whatever it is that we want to achieve. Let’s say you’re looking for a better job online, then you would want to use the best online tools to assist you in that aspect. Another scenario: you want to join a professional organization, you would focus your search to only organizations that best serve your interests. Better yet, let’s say you want new friends (big time), so you would want to hang out with people you probably like.

How do you pick the right crowd to hang out or work with? Whether you’re searching for a personal or professional squad, I highly suggest that you pick your crew wisely. What’s that? It is always for your own good to friend with those that stretch you, that encourage you to take the next step, or simply that push you to be your best self.

If you have friends or colleagues that do not pursue or encourage growth, then seek for another team. It’s really not helping you. You will stay in the exact same spot or the same position that you were years ago. Bottom line, you will never grow. You will never use your full potential. Your life will always be the same. (Just sad).

God did not create us to go backward. For instance, last year you were a different age. Let’s say you were 25, this year (one day) you turn 26. That means you increase in age. As you grow physically, God wants you to grow in other aspects as well like financially, spiritually, professionally, and some other areas. You get it, right?

I tell you right now my friend, you’ve been to school and you have learned a lot. You are capable of much more than you think. You just have not found the right crowd to give you a push into utilizing and living to your potential.

I encourage you to scan your systems (all of them). Your friends. Your work environment. Your church. Your squad. Everything other types of system or groups you partake in. Check to see if they’re stretching you out. See if they’re helping you grow mentally, physically, financially, professionally, spiritually, etc. If not, then Houston, we got a problem.

But hey, it’s not too late to fix any type of problem. There’s a solution for every problem friends. So, you got homework to do. Check your support system and make some changes, as necessary. Because here at 4-better, we want you to grow at all levels. We are challenging you to BE BETTER, ACT BETTER, and DO BETTER.

Let’s do this fam!
