How To Cultivate A Mindset Of Gratitude For 2018
I am so excited for this New Year. Don’t get me wrong here. I am very grateful for 2018. I have gained insights on many things that used to scare the life out of me. I went through an extensive set of challenges and heartaches. However, I should say, those challenges have set me free and left me with a deeper faith, more determination, and new commitment to be the best at all times and during every situation that I encounter in life.
My 16-year-old cousin preached a sermon at church recently and carefully took the time to explain to us the importance of our defeats, failures, sicknesses, difficulties, and trials. He laid out a scenery of reasons why it’s critical to go through those puzzling times.
I mean let’s face it. You can’t except things to be sur les roulettes all times. Even the wealthiest men on the planet experience some setbacks. Have you realized how strong you become after exposure to significant challenges of life? You feel stronger. You learn new things that were foreign to you before. You feel anew in all categories of life. You feel more determined to move forward. Whether you change direction, implement your plans, change tactics, use new approaches, but overall you are completely a changed person.
So yes, my cousin was inspired by God and God only to preach this sermon. We shall, in all things, give thanks for our sufferings, trials, and tribulations for we shall be rewarded with vigor, willpower, understanding, and inspiration.
I release and say Adieu to 2018 as I welcome 2019 with a positive mindset –financially, spiritually, physically, mentally and emotionally. Yup, your emotions count too because your emotions affect first when troubles come and drain down your energy –which affect your physical followed by your spiritual and later your finances.
Let’s create new possibilities and be open to firsthand opportunities in 2019.
Cheers!
