Stanley Louissaint – Don’t Let Anyone Deter You From Achieving Your Dreams
It all began with an idea as Stanley was very passionate about cologne. His friends would always ask him as to when he would start his own line. He enjoyed mixing various fragrances for the best scents. If you want to know the latest cologne in the market, you would need to go to Stanley because he always knew of the new releases for all lines of perfumeries -whether for men or women.
Stanley purchased empty bottles online first to try making the oils so that he could explore diverse aromas. It was troublesome because seldom people would not even look at his products after he creates them. Hence, he obliged feedback from his customers to guide him in his preliminary fragrance creations. He tried using numerous avenues to sell the colognes, but nothing worked. He reached out to friends via Facebook, and at times, would gallivant off the streets, but no one was interested.
People used to make fun of him and made him feel embarrassed. It gets complicated when only you understand what you are trying to accomplish. Sometimes, he would go through several months without selling anything when he has packs of products at home. In the midst of it all, Stanley never loses confidence. He stays committed to his dream, although some folks thought he was a fool.
He kept sharing the products on Facebook and sold it to some friends of his. It took a while before he started to experience some cash flow from selling the products -not much, but enough to keep him going. Since the business was not financially promising, he had to pour in his work wages to cover egregious expenses that come with launching a reputable business.
The more he puts himself out there, the more customers he was receiving, and of course, a bit of more cash flow -enough to sustain the business. He gets more active on Social Media and continues to reach out to more people with the hope of increasing sell. Desperate times call for desperate measures. If you are not willing to go out of your way, your business will probably never see the light of day. Stanley applies the best and negative feedback to serve his clientele well.
It took one day for his business to pick up after all the hurdles and uncertain times. He met a businessman from New Jersey to whom he offered a sample. The businessman came back later on and requested to buy 100 more bottles. From there, the business grew and started gaining more and more territory with an increasingly faithful clientele.
All he needed was that one customer. On January 19th, 2020, Louissaint Aroma officially launched. The fragrance line caters to both men and women. Stanley acquired advantageous experiences before launching his business.
Often, the person you always look up to might be the one who does not give a crap about you, but that should not stop or discourage you. Stanley contacted one artist to get some direction. Thus, when he finally spoke with him, he rejected Stanley’s idea. Not even offered a word of wisdom or encouragement.
Stanley offers some advice to young people seeking to launch a new product.
- Do your own research —Stanley recalled staying up all night, glued to his laptop, researching about how to create and start his own fragrance line.
- Find a purpose for your product —Stanley yearned to satisfy his clientele first before even thinking about products. His goal was to make people feel special when they use his fragrance.
- Just take the first step, and God will do the rest —You can do anything that you want to do, but you must take the first step. Don’t just talk about what you want to do, but act upon your ideas.
- Surround yourself with positive people —It’s good to have friends, but the best thing is to have friends who will always encourage you to be the best of yourself.
- You don’t need a lot to start something —Even the Ti Karol you’re selling, sell it with passion and sell valuable products. You never know the customers you might end up selling to.
- You have to keep going and don’t let anyone deter you from achieving your dreams.
