Your To-Do List For The Month Of July
It is officially the summer season, and we can all agree that, in most places on the planet, it’s hot ‒very hot. I’ve recently visited the Caribbean beaches, and I just wanted to stay there all summer long. This month, we encourage you to stay cool and enjoy the breeze while you can. We have prepared a list of the things you can do to enjoy the season.
Drink lots of water. Have you ever heard of people who don’t like drinking? Well, yes I used to be one of those people. However, with this weather, water has become my best friend. Drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration, skin rash, and to keep your heart rate in a stable condition. Yes, that too.
Go for a walk under the breeze. If the heat is down during the afternoon hours, enjoy a walk at a nearby park. If you live in a cool area (like me) go around for a walk so you can breathe the fresh air, not the hot air though.
Take cold showers. According to an article originally published on Success.com, there are physiological and physical advantages of taking cold showers. Though I don’t quite like cold showers, I’d keep in a more relaxed temperature than I used to, and you should too. Cold showers improve skin complexion, boost immunity, and even enrich your mood. Yes, moody people, you hear!
Visit the nearby beach. You might not have a nearby beach, but a swimming pool will do the work. Many cities have implemented swimming pools in their parks. Take advantage. Sit down by a beach or park, and relax the mind and the body. Take a swim in the pool or the beach, and thank me later.
You might have to drive few minutes to the beach, but hey, pull down those windows and let the cool breeze in. Don’t forget your water bottle and take a walk while you’re at it.
Cheers to another Hot Summer!
